1. They are man made inventions
2. They are consistently used for killing
3. They are guaranteed rights in the constitution
4. They were created by a few men who had in mind the control of many men
5. Most lock them away and pay no attention to them until a crisis arises
6. People who love them are usually somewhat insane or extremely desperate
7. They can convince people to do any ridiculous thing asked of them
8. Madmen are constantly creating new “improved” versions
